Dr. Goel is Director & Head, Department of Pulmonology, Pulmonary critical care and Sleep Medicine at Fortis memorial research institute, Gurgaon (Delhi & ncr). Dr. goel is an Interventional Pulmonologist in South Delhi. He has pursued MBBS and MD in Pulmonary Medicine from King George Medical College, Lucknow. In addition to this, he has received his Diploma in Interventional Pulmonology from Lille university of science and technology, France.
He has hands-on expertise in treating Chronic Obstructive Airway Disease, Interstitial Lung Diseases, Recurrent Chest Infection, Pulmonary Interventions, Chronic Respiratory Insufficiency, Respiratory Allergy, Acute Life-Threatening Lung Disorders, Sleep Disorders and Occupational Lung disorder.
He has successfully treated patients with Bronchial Asthma, Pleural Effusion, and Empyema. He also provides advanced Bronchoscopic procedures, critical care and home respiratory care. He has also undergone a course in Sleep Medicine in Sydney, Australia.
He is among the first Physicians who introduced the concept of Noninvasive Ventilation for both acute and long-term home care. He is also one of the pioneers in the field of sleep Medicine, especially sleep-related breathing disorders. Presently, Dr. Goel holds the position of Director & Head of Department of Pulmonology, Pulmonary Critical Care & Sleep Medicine at Fortis memorial research institute, Gurgaon. He also runs his own clinic in Vasant Kunj.
