He completed his Post-Graduation in Obstetrics & Gynecology from Prestigious Seth G.S Medical College and KEM & Wadia Hospital, Mumbai. Subsequently, Dr. Sankpal obtained a Degree from National board of examination, New Delhi & Post-Graduate Fellowship in Gynaecology, Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynecology (DGO), Diploma in Family Planning (DFP), from College of Physicians & Surgeons, Mumbai. Dr. Sankpal was Awarded Post-Doctoral Fellowship by International Federation of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (F.I.G.O) for one year.

Dr. Sankpal Completed a Post-Doctoral fellowship at North-Western University Medical School, Chicago, USA & other Affiliated Hospitals. During his Fellowship Period, Dr. Sankpal was awarded Top-Gun Prize at YALE University, New York for Having best Laparoscopic suturing skills during and International Endoscopy Conference.
