Biography

Dr. L. K. Malhotra is a distinguished Neurologist and a gifted clinician with a fine clinical acumen. In 1997 when a Dedicated Center for Neuro Sciences (VIMHANS) was inaugurated, he Attached himself to this institute on its inception. VIMHANS provided services in the branch of Neurology, Neurosurgery, Psychiatry, Psychology and spinal services. A true believer of teamwork, he had a competent team of doctors working with him.

In February 2014, he decided to move ahead and continue practicing on his own at his clinic.He is an expert not only in handling acute neurological emergencies, but also provides with support to patients’ families dealing with chronic neurological diseases. He has a particular interest in headaches, Parkinson's disease, Epilepsy, and stroke.In 2006, he was awarded the prestigious T.P. Jhunjhunwala Foundation National Award for Medical Excellence.Apart from being an active member of the IAN, NSI, Secretary IEA, and DNA, he has delivered talks in conferences and neurology updates all over the country. He has also chaired numerous sessions on the same.He can be contacted at his own clinic called Malhotra Neuro Centre in Sheikh Sarai (Phase 1), New Delhi. The facilities available there range from portable video EEG, EMG, and NCV to physiotherapy services.
