Biography

Founder President of Association of Child Neurology of India (HQ New Delhi); Former President, Asian Oceanian Child Neurology Association (HQ Tokyo); Chairperson, Educational Committee of International Child Neurology Association (HQ Brussels).

Recently been bestowed with the Swasth Bharat Samman by Zee TV and LIC for her contributions to Pediatrics. A Fellow of various Scientific Academies spread over the world.

Instrumental in establishing Pediatric Neurology as an important sub-specialty in India and at the AIIMS New Delhi. She also constituted DM (Child Neurology) post-doctoral course at AIIMS.
