Biography

Dr. Kavthale is the first and only Interventional Cardiologist from Latur in Maharashtra, He is a Gold Medalist in MD. His interest areas include Adult Diagnostic & Interventional Catheterization, Pediatric Diagnostic & Interventional Catheterization, Electro Physiology & Radio Frequency Catheter Ablation, Non-invasive Cardiology including - Exercise testing, Color Doppler Echocardiography & Transesophageal Echo, Fetal Echocardiography, Ambulatory ECG, and Research. Dr. Kavthale received his MBBS and MD (Internal Medicine) Degrees from Govt Medical College, Aurangabad. It was followed by DM Degree from Seth G S Medical College and King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. Simultaneously, He accomplished DNB Cardiology from National Board of Examination, New Delhi.

Dr. Kavthale has regularly been Organizing CME courses in Coronary Intervention, Valve, Electro Physiology, and Congenital Interventions. Apart from Being a Consultant Cardiologist and Medical Director at Planet Critical Care Centre, He Also Provides Consultancy from Kavthale Cath Lab & Heart Hospital, which is the only hospital and Cath Lab in Latur having full time Qualified Cardiologist. He has Also been Associated with Govt Medical College of Latur as Professor of Medicine since 2002.
