Biography

Dr. Ruikar is a Neurologist in Latur, Practising at Shree Neurocare Centre located opposite Dayanand College. He specializes in General Neurology, Stroke, Epilepsy, Headache and Movement Disorders.

His specific areas of interest are: Epilepsy surgery and DBS (Deep Brain Stimulation); Radiofrequency ablative procedure; and functional Neurosurgery for Movement Disorders.

After completing his MBBS and Internship from the Government Medical College in Miraj, Dr. Ruikar gained 11 months of Pediatrics experience at Grant Medical College and Sir JJ Group of Hospitals in Mumbai, Including three Months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience at Cama & Albless Hospital, Mumbai.

Dr. Devashish Ruikar worked from February 2007 to August 2007 as a Consultant in the Critical Care unit at Apple Hospital in Kolhapur. He then moved to Hyderabad as Neurology Resident at Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences for three years of training towards obtaining the title of DNB (Neurology) in December 2010.
